Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Kansas City International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United States as it serves more than ten million passengers every year. The airport serves the city of Kansas in Missouri and nearby locations making it a suitable car rental hub in the region. Expansions are currently underway to improve terminal services and facilities and accommodate the growing number of passengers that go through the airport.

Kansas City Airport is located 24 km from the city centre and is composed of three terminals. Terminal C is for international arrivals and departures while the other two terminals are for domestic flights. The terminals and the car park facility where options for cheap car hire at the Kansas City Airport are provided are connected through a complementary red shuttle bus that regularly goes around the property.

Information desks are located all throughout the airport. ATMs, banking facilities, business centres, currency exchange and free wireless internet access are also available all over the terminals.
