The link between compare car

The link between compare car hire and Europcar did not seem robust. Having made a booking the desk at our destination seemed unsure how to process the information. The subsequent email informing us that no car was available, even though we had already collected it, just added to our impression that it would probably be better to book direct rather than through a comparison website.

The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

The Stockholm-Vasteras Airport or Vasteras Airport may be small in terms of the number of passengers it serves but it still takes care to provide reliable services to its clients. The airport is located six miles east of the city centre and 110 km from Stockholm, Sweden. It is accessible via the Stockholm Central Station through a private bus coach service. As an entry point to the city of Vasteras, the Vasteras Airport is also considered a car rental hub. The Vasteras Airport is housed in a single terminal building serving two airlines: the RyanAir flights to and from London, Weeze and Girona and WizzAir flights to and from Poznan. Passengers will also find a currency exchange bureau and ATM at the terminal.

For travelling families, the airport offers baby change facilities while wheelchair accessible amenities are also available for the physically challenged passengers. Dining is limited to the Sky Bistro, the airports café and restaurant. It serves complete meals and quick snacks and also sells books, toys and newspapers that travellers may want to take with them to keep them occupied during their journey.

At the Vasteras Airport, passengers will also find a modern Euroshop located at the departure lounge. The shop features a wide inventory of crystal glassware, perfume and other local souvenirs.

To get to the city centre, travellers may arrange for cheap car hire at the Vasteras Airport. Four major cheap car hire agencies have offices located at the entrance to the terminal building.
