Last year Las Palmas Airport on Gran Canaria was the busiest in the area, it took care of over ten million passengers. There are some great modern facilities found here with car rental counters found in Arrivals along with up to date tourist information kiosks.

With year round good temperatures people come to the island and enjoy the sun and sights. Cheap car hire at Las Palmas Airport Gran Canaria (LPA) is located amid the international and local Arrivals found on the lower level. Internet access on the upper level is positioned after security. Information locations are dotted on both floors of the airport.

Arrivals is on the ground floor and facilities include; ATMs, a bank open from 08:00 to 14:15, a tourist information counter where details can be found on what to do while in Gran Canaria, cheap car hire at Las Palmas Airport Gran Canaria (LPA) and a small selection of shops and cafés.

The upper level is home to Departures and after passport control there is a vast selection of shops to purchase goods in including; electrical items, toys, pharmaceuticals, watches, sportswear and the regular duty free shops for tobacco and alcohol. An internet café can also be located on the first floor.

There are 2,140 spaces for cars split into short and long stay, disabled bays are found in the short stay car park. Access is provided for wheel chairs with ramps and lifts to the upper floor. Buses and taxis are located outside where travel to popular destination is offered.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

 When will I get a confirmation of my booking?

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
