Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Calvi Airport is a primary budget car rental hub and air gateway into the Upper Corsica region in the Mediterranean. It serves connecting flights from key cities in France and other European destinations. The airport is fairly small but it does offer reliable passenger services. The airport is located about six km from the city centre of Calvi and is connected to the city through various forms of public transport.

Calvi Airport is composed of a single terminal where all arrivals and departures for a number of airlines are served. It offers scheduled flights to certain French destinations including Marseilles, Nice and Toulouse as well as connections to Amsterdam and Cologne. Options for car hire at the Calvi Airport are served through four rental agencies that have set up counters inside the terminal building.

Other facilities at the Calvi Airport include nurseries and baby change facilities, vending machines, ATMs, currency exchange bureaus and post boxes. The airport also has an information and travel assistance desk to address passenger inquiries about exploring the region.

Dining options at the airport are limited to the snack bar located along the central hall. The snack bar serves a decent variety of light snacks and quick meals. The airport also has a boutique where travellers can purchase locally made souvenirs and other merchandise.

Aside from arranging for cheap car hire at the Calvi Airport, travellers are provided with other transport options to get to the city centre. They can find the taxi bay in front of the arrivals section. Buses also pass through the airport going to various parts of Corsica and Calvi.
