A useful website showing clearly the options. The paperwork via email was a bit confusing though and could be better titled so it’s easier to re-find in your inbox. There was initially no confirmation immediately after the booking was made so I had to confirm the transaction by phoning up.

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

It is located 15 km from the city centre and is considered a regional car rental hub for travellers visiting this part of Austria. Aside from serving as a passenger gateway, the airport also has three cargo terminals that handle more than 34,000 tons of cargo every year.

At the Linz Airport, passengers are provided with a range of services and amenities for their convenience. The airport has a single passenger terminal that serves all departures and arrivals for all the airlines that go through it. Cheap car hire at the Linz Airport can be arranged through the rental offices located at the car park. Within the terminal building, passengers will find facilities such as information and tourist help desks, travel agents, baby changing rooms, ATMs and currency exchange counters. A bank is also available at the Check-in Hall.

The airport also offers a number of dining options. Catering services can be arranged for business functions held at the airport's conference rooms.
